The importance of supporting emergency rescue operation with advanced technical equipment is increasingly recognized,alongside the need to strengthen the competency of emergency management organization and emergency rescue team.Given the grim safety situation,personal protective equipment become an important lifeline of emergency responders.This paper discusses the development of advanced protective equipment to build a safety barrier.It analyzes the functions,characteristics,and performance advantages of personal protective equipment in emergency rescue operations.Furthermore,it proposes requirements for the deployment,utilization,and equipping of such gear.Additionally,it outlines the prospects and future trends in the development of the emergency rescue personal protection industry.
