This article provides a brief introduction to the background of the development of GB 39800.5-2023"Specification for Personal Protective Equipment Part 5:Building Materials Industry".It discusses the overall requirements for personal protective equipment(PPE)provided by various employers in the building materials industry,including the identification and evaluation of hazards and PPE provision and management.This paper aims to provide strong technical support for the implementation of this standard.
