With the rapid advancement of transportation infrastructure construction,including high-speed railways,highways,and subways,safety concerns in the tunnel construction industry have become increasingly prominent.Personal protective equipment(PPE)plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of construction workers.In this paper,we delve into the causes and main types of issues faced by the tunnel construction industry.Then,we analyze the performance requirements and practical application status of PPE within this context.Finally,we discuss the anticipated development trends for PPE in the tunnel construction industry and put forward corresponding improvement suggestions.
