Performance Optimization of Aramid Flame Retardant Fabrics
Personal protective equipment(PPE)is designed to prevent workers from accidents and occupational hazards during the labor production process,providing direct protection to the human body.Flame retardant and protective clothing,with its outstanding protective performance,serves as the last line of defense to safeguard the lives of employees.However,existing flame retardant fabrics still have several problems which hinder their further promotion,including the poor flame retardant performance,limited breathability,and low wearing comfort.To address these challenges,the author developed a new formulation for these fabrics,and its properties were characterized and analyzed in this paper.It is believed that the paper findings can provide a reference for practitioners in the field of flame retardant protection.
