GB 39800.9-2024Specifications for the Provision of Personal Protective Equipment-Part 9:Automobile Industry aims to address the issue of non-standard provision of personal protective equipment in the automotive industry and to ensure the safety and health of employees.It applies to employers such as automobile manufacturers and parts manufacturers,specifying the requirements for equipping protective equipment in various work scenarios.It does not apply to the management of personal protective equipment for firefighting purposes.The standard requires employers to identify and assess workplace hazards in accordance with relevant general regulations and industry-specific characteristics.Based on the nature of operations,appropriate protective equipment such as safety helmets,eye and face protection equipment,safety shoes must be provided.Implementation of this standard can effectively reduce the risks of accidents and occupational diseases,enhance workplace safety,and promote the standardized and safe development within the automotive industry.
