The high temperature and drastic change of the inertial platform system are the important factors that affect the navigation accuracy of inertial navigation system. In order to improve the heat dissipation capacity of inertial platform system,an improved heat dissipation method based on micro-tank and helium-filling is proposed, and the heat dissipation effect is analyzed.Taking a platform system as the research object, according to its heat transfer mechanism, the reasons of the poor heat dissipation capacity of the current inertial platform are analyzed. The numerical simulation analysis is carried out on the heat dissipation methods such as increasing the heat dissipation area of the micro-tank and helium-filling,and the heat dissipation test is verified by the scaled sample. The results show that the combined use of the two methods on the basis of forces convection can reduce the platform temperature by about 9.7℃compared with that before the improvement, which effectively proves the feasibility and heat dissipation effect of the two methods, and provides guidance for the thermal design of the inertial platform system.
