With the development of aging,the population of osteoporosis is gradually increasing,and the number of people suffering from osteoporotic fractures is also increasing,bringing a heavy burden to healthcare and society.The most common sites of osteoporotic fractures are vertebrae,hip,distal radius,and proximal humerus.The primary purposes of this review are to summarize the current literature in recent years,review osteoporotic fracture epidemiology,and provide a reference for developing policies for osteoporotic fracture prevention and control.
