Research progress on mechanical pain in knee osteoarthritis
Knee osteoarthritis is a common chronic joint disease, and pain is the main symptom of patients and one of the main reasons for seeking medical consultation.Mechanical pain is a special type of pain in knee osteoarthritis, which is the pain response of the body to mechanical stimulation.Studies have shown that most patients with knee osteoarthritis have mechanical pain. This review reviews the research progress of mechanical pain in recent years, focuses on the role of three mechanically sensitive ion channels Piezo1,Piezo2 and TRPV4 in mediating mechanical pain in knee osteoarthritis, and summarizes some potential treatments for these mechanisms,in order to provide a reference for further study of the mechanism and treatment of mechanical pain.
