Endocrine therapy for osteoporosis secondary to postmenopausal breast cancer is a global public health disease to be solved urgently.Postmenopausal breast cancer is closely associated with osteoporosis.For postmenopausal breast cancer patients,Western medicine often use aromatase inhibitors in endocrine therapy drugs,although it can effectively control the level of estrogen and improve the survival rate,it will increase the risk of osteoporosis and fracture.Therefore,it is very necessary to carry out related bone examination.For this disease,Western medicine is often used in the treatment of bisphosphonates,the short-term effect is more satisfactory,but there is a time limit,can not be used for a long time.Non-drug treatment in Western medicine focuses on adjusting lifestyle.The internal treatment of this disease in traditional Chinese medicine,mainly from the liver,spleen and kidney treatment,can increase bone mineral density,reduce bone pain and other symptoms,reduce the risk of fracture,the curative effect is more significant,less side effects.The external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine adopts acupuncture,acupoint burying,acupoint applying and other therapies.This article reviews the research progress of endocrine treatment of postmenopausal breast cancer secondary osteoporosis from two aspects of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,in order to make better progress in the prevention and treatment of this disease,and provide a better basis for clinical and scientific research.
