摘要

肌少症是随着年龄增长所致骨骼肌质量减少及功能减退的综合征,增加了跌倒和骨折的风险,是老年人致残、致死的主要原因之一.目前研究显示肌少症患者常出现铁过载现象,提示肌少症与铁过载相关,但缺乏综合性描述.铁作为人体必须的微量元素,代谢失调时会引起人体细胞功能受损,氧化应激损伤增多.探索铁过载与肌少症的关系,对阐明肌少症的病理机制,提供治疗方案有积极意义.本文对现有关于铁过载与肌少症相关性的研究现状进行综述,总结了铁过载与肌少症相关的潜在途径,包括氧化损伤、线粒体损伤、泛素连接酶诱导肌肉萎缩和铁死亡,以期为机制探索和临床实践提供参考.

Abstract

Sarcopenia is a syndrome of loss of skeletal muscle mass and function with age,which increases the risk of falls and fractures.It is one of the main causes of disability and death in the elderly.At present,studies have found that patients with sarcopenia have iron overload.However,it is lack of comprehensive review it.Iron,as the essential element of the body,its metabolism disorder may cause cellular dysfunction and oxidative damage.Exploring the relationship between iron overload and sarcopenia is of positive slignificance for clarifying the pathological mechanism of sarcopenia and for providing treatment plans.In this paper,the research of the relation between iron overload and sarcopenia is reviewed.We summarize the potential pathways related to iron overload and sarcopenia,including oxidative damage,mitochondrial damage,and ubiquitin ligase induced muscle atrophy and ferroptosis,in order to provide reference for clarifying the pathological mechanism and clinical practice.
