Epigenetic modifications in osteoporosis(OP)may reflect the mechanisms by which genetic and environmental factors influence the association between osteoporosis and increased fracture risk.MicroRNA(miRNA),long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)and circRNA(circRNA)have been proved to be epigenetic modulators and involved in the control of gene expression, affecting a variety of biological processes, including bone metabolism and bone formation, and are important targets for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Therefore, this paper reviews the mechanisms of miRNA,circRNA and lncRNA mediated osteoclast osteoporosis, providing new research targets and treatment ideas for osteoclast dysfunction induced osteoporosis.
