Osteoarthritis(OA)is a common degenerative joint disease.The incidence is increasing year by year.The treatment is mainly with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.Long-term use is easy to cause gastrointestinal damage and the recurrent phenomenon of the disease.Traditional Chinese medicine compound prescription has a long history,wide application,few side effects,and unique advantages in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of OA.The damages of chondrocytes and bone tissue are closely related to oxidative stress.Traditional Chinese medicine compound prescription plays a role in multiple signals and multiple pathways to regulate the antioxidant capacity of the body with common OA syndrome.It reduces chondrocyte apoptosis and bone tissue degeneration,and delays the process of OA.This paper summarizes the related research literature of traditional Chinese medicine compound prescription regulating oxidative stress in the prevention and treatment of OA,such as qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,cold-dampness obstruction syndrome,and liver-kidney deficiency syndrome,providing a new idea and direction for the prevention and treatment of OA.
