The core of osteoarthritis lies in the abnormal distribution of qi,blood and fluid.The blockade of the body's meridians by external evils leads to the accumulation of pathological products in the body,Results ing in metabolic disorders of the body and the pathological outcome of osteoarthritis.Based on the liver-kidney-mitochondria association theory,this paper expounds the mitochondrial dysfunction induced ferroptosis to intervene in the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis,and argues that liver and kidney deficiency,qi stagnation,and blood stasis have something in common with mitochondria and ferroptosis to promote osteoarthritis oxidative stress-induced damage and chondrocyte apoptosis.
