Objective Based on the"kidney brain bone"axis theory,this study aims to explore the common pathogenesis of postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMOP)and anxiety state,in order to provide new ideas for PMOP.Methods By searching relevant literature and research on the"kidney brain bone"axis theory,PMOP,and anxiety state in databases such as CNKI and PubMed,we aim to explore the correlation between the two in depth.Results The"kidney brain bone"axis integrates the relevant theories of"kidney,brain,and bone"in traditional Chinese medicine,summarizing the connections between the three.Hormones and neuropeptides are important neurotransmitters that connect the three,and can participate in the regulation of bone homeostasis and anxiety from multiple levels and dimensions.Conclusion The theory of the"kidney brain bone"axis reveals the common pathogenesis between PMOP and anxiety state,combining"kidney governing bone","kidney storing consciousness",and neuropeptide regulation,providing new ideas for PMOP.
