Alkali melting inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry(ICP-OES)method for the determination of 11 metal elements in soil is usually the platinum crucible as a container for alkali melting, but the platinum crucible is expensive, and it is easy to stick to the molten sample during high temperature alkali melting, and can not be used for the detection of large quantities of samples. Therefore, this method uses a ceramic crucible with a graphite powder cushion layer as the container for alkali melting, and a mixture of sodium carbonate, lithium tetraborate, and lithium metaborate as the flux. The 11 metal elements in the soil are determined using an inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer. The results showed that this method was used to determine 11 metal elements in soil standard samples with 4 different concentration values, and the measured values were all within the qualified range. This method has low cost, easy detachment of molten samples, good stability, and high accuracy, and is suitable for the detection of large quantities of samples.
