Research on Improvement of Control Strategy for Fault of Charging Pump Outlet Connection Valve in M310 Nuclear Power Unit
When the connecting valve RCV083VP or RCV084VP at the outlet of the charging pump of the M310 nuclear power unit fails to close and cannot be opened, the charging and discharging pipelines need to be i-solated and excess discharging pipelines need to be put into operation.RCV001PO should be started to maintain the supply of cooling water for the main pump shaft seal. The result of this control strategy is the generation of unavailable charging and discharging events, that is,the generation of two I01(RCV3,RCV4)of the same sys-tem;At least one valve that is involved in the direct injection function of high-pressure safety injection is una-vailable,another system I01(RIS3)is generated. Two different I01 systems are stacked, and according to technical specifications, the unit starts to retreat to MCS mode within 1 hour. This article concludes through consulting design documents, pre factory testing of the charging pump, and system calculation analysis that if RCV083VP or RCV084VP fails to close and cannot be opened, the second charging pump can be started for long-term operation to ensure the cooling water and charging flow rate of the main pump shaft seal, and to avoid the unit from being withdrawn in a short period of time due to technical specifications requirements.
