Optimization Practice and Innovation of Nuclear Power Unit Outage Based on 96％of the Whole-life Capability Factor
China National Nuclear Power Co.,Ltd.(CNNP)has a various types of nuclear power units,and its overall operational performance has been steadily improved,but there is still a gap between its unit capacity factor and the world's best level.The outage duration is an important factor affecting the unit capacity factor,and the loss of generation due to outage generally accounts for more than 90％of the total generation loss.CNNP established a special organization for outage optimization in 2021 to carry out the optimization work in 12 professional directions,including planning and management,operation control,maintenance implementation,preventive maintenance tasks,safety analysis,periodic tests,in-service inspections,turbine generator maintenance,reactor body and fuel replacement,fuel and core physics,radiation protection,and digital information.The special organization has comprehensively improved the outage performance through activities such as whole-life planning guidelines,critical path re-study,task optimization,establishment of standard critical path scheduling/work orders,scientific research and promotion of results,which have been effective and created good economic and social benefits.
