Since the commissioning of containment chillers of Unit 1 & 2 of Fuqing NPP(DEG chillers),the low evaporation pressure alarm or outage due to fault were triggered frequently every year under the condition of low ambient temperature in winter.The reliability of the equipment was not guaranteed.The normal operation of equipment was affected seriously.For the defect of low evaporation pressure frequently occurred in DEG water chillers,this article analyzes all possible reasons of low evaporation pressure,starting from the operation of the whole chiller.Through checking and analyzing one by one,the root cause for the alarm was determined.Via test verification,the solution of low evaporation pressure during low load was put forward,the stability and reliability of equipment operation were improved,and the DEG chiller alarm rate was effectively reduced.
