Bearing failure is an important fault in the rotating machinery,and the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of rolling bearings have always been the research focus of mechanical fault diagnosis technique.This article mainly introduces the mechanism of shock pulse generation and fault signal characteristics of rolling bearings,and analyzes the differences between the shock pulse SPM-HD technique and the traditional vibration envelope technique.Based on the actual rolling bearing faults in nuclear power plant,the results of the shock pulse SPM-HD technique and the vibration monitoring technique are compared and analyzed,This demonstrates the unique advan tage of shock pulse method in andtion monitoring of rolhing bearings,which can be applied to the indentification and fault diagnosis of rolling bearing clefects.
