Analysis of about Seismic Classification and Mechanical Evaluation of the Nuclear Check Valve for CPR1000 Unit
At present, there are differences in seismic classification of check valves with the same safety function inCPR1000,and there are some disputes on seismic classification of nuclear check valves in the industry. However, the seismic classification of nuclear check valve will directly affect the stress acceptance criteria used in the mechanical evaluation of the valve, and then affect the reliability of the valve to perform its safety function. In this paper,a typical nuclear swing check valve in the auxiliary feed water system(ASG)of CPR1000 is taken as an example, based on the RCC series standards for CPR1000 design and the requirements of seismic classification and mechanical evaluation in the license documents, and combined the safety function of the valve, the reasonable seismic classification and mechanical evaluation suggestions of the valve are given, which can provide targeted guidance for seismic classification and mechanical evaluation of the nuclear check valve for CPR1000 and similar units. The conclusions and suggestions put forward in this paper are of great significance to further improve the safe operation level of nuclear power plant.
