Analysis on the Influencing Factors of Thermal Conductivity of Impermeable Graphite Materials
Impermeable graphite materials, due to their excellent corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, are widely used in the chlor-alkali,petrochemical,pesticide,and metallurgical industries, making a significant contribution to modern industry in terms of energy saving, consumption reduction, and anti-corrosion and emission reduction.Currently, impermeable graphite materials are porous and anisotropic, and there is a lack of research on the thermal conductivity of impermeable graphite materials in China. This paper compares various thermal conductivity measurement methods and selects the comparative method, which is easy to operate, has high repeatability, and relatively small relative deviation, for the research. The results show that the smaller the particle size of the graphite raw material, the greater the thermal conductivity of the impermeable graphite material, the more the impregnation times, the greater the thermal conductivity of the impermeable graphite material. To improve the accuracy of the measurement of the thermal conductivity of impermeable graphite materials, the sample should be fitted with a thermal insulation sleeve, and the end face should be coated with thermal conductive silicone, and the height of the measured sample and the standard sample should be controlled within±1%.
