Research on ship berth scheduling based on cuboid arrangement considering tidal effects
Berth allocation and ship scheduling in large ports are key issues that determine port throughput and operational efficiency. When a ship chooses a berth to dock,it is affected by many aspects such as berth idle time, berth length, and real-time water depth of the berth. The purpose of optimization is to study the berth allocation and ship dispatching problems of Qingdao Port.Under the influence of tides,a cuboid arrangement is proposed. The problem model describes the different draft depths, different types, and different service time requirements of ships under the influence of tides.Based on the proposed model,a two-level greedy algorithm and a two-dimensional genetic algorithm for ship priority and berth allocation are designed.Through simulation Data and real data from Qingdao Port verified the effectiveness of this method.
