In this study,we used 2,2′,4,4′?tetrabromodiphenyl ether (BDE?47) as a model compound to elucidate the sorption?desorption behavior and characteristics of PBDEs in soil minerals and organic matter. The experimental results indicated that:inorganic minerals in soil sorb little BDE?47,while organic matter is the key component that regulate the sorption behavior of BDE?47 in soil;the sorption capacity of organic matter sorb BDE?47 is related to its organic carbon content and physical?chemical properties;desorption of BDE?47 from humic acids exhibits significant hysteresis.
