Exploring the Breakthrough of Petroleum Monitoring in Water Based on the Current Situation of Emergency Monitoring for Petroleum
After the occurrence of unexpected environmental events, monitoring the pollutants, pollutant concentration, pollution range and their dynamic changes is the basic work of environmental emergency monitoring. In the case that it is not possible to use management means to effectively obtain pollution sources and other information, traceability emergency monitoring is also an important requirement for the treatment and disposal of unexpected environmental events. However, through data investigation and analysis of emergency monitoring cases,it is found that most of the emergency monitoring of unexpected petroleum water pollution events have problems or deficiencies, such as insufficient representativeness of sampling, imperfect traceability means, incomplete monitoring and screening of characteristic pollutants, and limitations of the existing effective monitoring methods for petroleum, which cannot completely explain the pollution status. Therefore,it is suggested to optimize and integrate the monitoring standard system of petroleum pollution index in water, build technical specifications and supporting monitoring and analysis methods that are suitable for the characteristics of petroleum pollution,so as to achieve the purpose of accurately and comprehensively reflecting the petroleum pollution status of water.
