Real-Time Tracking and Application of Particulate Matter Emission Sources Based on Horizontal Scanning Lidar
In air pollution control, there is still inadequate of traditional detection methods in the accurate location and real-time traceability of local atmospheric particulate matter emission sources. An independently developed 1 550 nm scanning aerosol lidar has the advantages of high detection efficiency, fast scanning speed(360° PPI scans takes about 8.5 minutes)and eye-safe.Based on the lidar horizontal scanning monitoring, combined with the iterative splicing method and the newly defined particulate tracing index and pollution source location method, the local emission sources can be accurately identified and located. For some cases of pollution emission localization and traceability, the aerosol plume changes in the process of particle emission, diffusion, transmission and dissipation are shown and analyzed by combining multiple images, and typical emission sources of particles such as industrial production and construction dust are tracked by combining satellite images. The impact of some pollution emissions on the concentration of particulate matter at the monitoring station is analyzed based on the ground monitoring data. The lidar demonstrates high accuracy in real-time tracing and locating particulate emission sources through low elevation, repeatable fast scanning combined with an analytical process consistent with the law of particulate diffusion.
