Dynamic Change Monitoring of Vegetation Coverage Based on Landsat 8 Remote Sensing Image and the Analysis on Countermeasures for Improving the Ecological Quality Index:A Case Study of Hailing District,Taizhou City
The Landsat 8 OLI image data covering Hailing District of Taizhou in 2013,2017 and 2021 were selected and combined with normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)dimidiate pixel model to estimate vegetation coverage.Based on the transfer matrix, the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of vegetation coverage in Hailing District from 2013 to 2021 were statistically analyzed. In the meantime, the green space rate index and the park accessibility index in the built-up area were simulated and analyzed. It was found that the park and green space area in the built-up were positively correlated with the green space rate index, park accessibility index and ecological quality index(EQI),moreover, the type of green space, the shape of the park and the dispersion would have different effects on the index calculation results. The monitoring results of vegetation coverage showed that the plots with significantly decreased vegetation coverage in Hailing District were located in its marginal zone, while the plots with significantly increased vegetation coverage were scattered in various areas of Hailing District, indicating that the government was still giving consideration to the expansion of the green and ecological space in the process of urban development and construction.
