Research on Odor Concentration Sampling Assessment System Software Based on Virtual Reality Technology Application
Odor concentration is a sensory index that represents the odor pollution degree.Odor concentration monitoring is the current main stream monitoring method at home and abroad.Assessment training for monitoring and sampling personnel is the important foundation to ensure the quality of odor concentration monitoring.The on-site sampling assessment of odor concentration at present is mainly depending on operational demonstrations and on-site questioning,and there are some problems such as different expert assessment gestures,narrow coverage of assessment content,low assessment efficiency,infeasible large-scale centralized assessment,etc.To further standardize and systematize the assessment of odor concentration monitoring and sampling personnel,virtual reality technology(VR)is introduced,the immersion odor concentration sampling assessment system software is developed as well.By means of simulation test and software effect evaluation,the necessity and importance of VR technology in the assessment of odor concentration sampling are proved.
