In the critical period to build a healthy China,the National Health Commission issued a series of documents aimed at comprehensively improving medical quality and patient satisfaction as well as their experience.Infection prevention and control is both fundamental and important to ensure medical quality.Nursing managers should enhance their awareness and make the best of their leadership to encourage nurses to engage in the work of infection prevention and control so that infections like catheter-associated infection and surgical site infection could be reduced and the influence and value of nursing be enhanced.
