Home recuperation experience of lung cancer patients with immunochemotherapy:a qualitative study
Objective:To explore the experience of lung cancer patients adopting immunochemotherapy during home recuperation.Methods:A semi-structured interview was conducted among 12 lung cancer patients who received immunochemothrapy.Colaizzi's seven-step analysis method was used to analyze the data.Results:The patients'home recuperation experience was summarized into 4 themes:the perceived symptom distress;complex psychological feelings;the diversified effects;inner expectations and needs.Conclusion:Patients with lung cancer who use immunochemotherapy have various issues during home recuperation.It is necessary to cooperate and support from many parties,including medical staff,family members and relevant departments,to strengthen and improve the symptom management and continuous care of patients during home recuperation,providing personalized positive psychological intervention.It is expected to strengthen the supportive care of patients,reduce the adverse disease experience of patients,adapt to the life after the disease better,and improve the quality of life of patients.
