Evidence summary for shared-care management of adult hospice care
Objective:To extract and summarize the evidence related to hospice shared-care management in adults,and provide an evidence-based support for healthcare professionals in the development of hospice shared-care for end-of-life patients.Methods:We systematically searched Chinese and English databases to collect all evidences about the hospice shared-care management in adults,the search time was limited from the establishment of the databases to November,2023.Researchers assessed the quality of the literature,reviewed and extracted the evidence,and integrated the evidence after discussion by the evidence-based research group.Results:Totally 14 articles were involved,including 3 clinical decisions,6 guidelines,1 expert consensus and 4 quasi-experimental studies.Finally,25 pieces of evidence have been obtained from 8 aspects,including the team composition,applicable population,service process,service contents,timing of initiation and duration of care,precautions,evaluation of effectiveness,quality control.Conclusion:When applying the evidence,clinical healthcare professionals should take into account the cultural context,make localized adaptations and pay attention to the updating of the evidence,in order to provide patients with standardized and regulated hospice shared-care services.
