Objective:To systematically integrate qualitative study findings on stigma experience in cancer patients,and to provide references for nursing interventions.Methods:Qualitative studies on stigma of cancer patients in Chinese and English databases were searched from inception to July 2023.The quality of the included literature was evaluated,and the results were integrated by Meta-integration.Results:A total of 21 studies were included with 70 topics being extracted,and 10 categories summarized.Four integrated results were formed:sources of stigma,effects of stigma,coping with stigma,and psychological growth of stigma in cancer patients.Conclusion:Cancer patients have obvious negative psychological experiences,and the stigma of cancer patients needs more attention,more social and psychological supports to reduce the sense of shame.
