Investigation on the knowledge,attitude and practice in the prevention of intraoperative acquired pressure injury among nurses in operating room in Shaanxi province
Objective:To investigate the current situation of knowledge,attitude and practice of nurses in operating room in Shaanxi province on the prevention of Intraoperative Acquired Pressure Injury(IAPI),and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide basis for clinical training of IAPI knowledge.Methods:Using convenient sampling method,3642 nurses in operating room from 317 hospitals in Shaanxi province from June to August 2023 were investigated with self-designed questionnaire on knowledge,attitude and practice of operating room nurses in the prevention of IAPI.Results:The scores of knowledge,attitude and practice for preventing IAPI among operating room nurses were 44.93±9.07,43.84±7.24 and 75.88±11.32.The scoring rates were 81.69%,87.68%and 89.27%,respectively.Training frequency,hospital grade,department category and working years positively affected the score of knowledge dimension(P<0.05).Training frequency,professional title and hospital grade positively affected the score of attitude dimension(P<0.05).Training frequency,hospital grade and professional title positively affected the score of practice dimension(P<0.05).Conclusion:The attitude and behavior of nurses in operating room on the prevention of IAPI are positive,but their knowledge level needs to be improved.It suggests that we should focus on fully playing the radiation effect of tertiary hospitals,increasing effective training frequency,and making reasonable use of personal experience of nurses to improve the prevention level of IAPI among nurses in operating room.
