Practice of pre-hospitalization model of online diagnosis and treatment in daytime chemotherapy center
Objective:To investigate the effects of online diagnosis and treatment pre-hospitalization model in patients admitted to the daytime chemotherapy center. Methods:With the help of information technology, the following tasks were carried out through online system:patients uploaded the examination results, physicians assessed these results, and pre-hospitalization and medical orders were prescribed.Medical outcomes were compared before and after the implementation of the model. Results:After the implementation of pre-hospitalization model of online diagnosis and treatment, the waiting time of patients for intravenous infusion decreased from(113.78±1.77)min to(85.58±0.87)min(P<0.05).The number of patients treated per month increased from 409 to 1116 with an increase rate of 172.9%.The utilization rate of beds increased from 66.0%to 180.0%with an increase rate of 172.7%.The satisfaction level of admission and discharge in daytime chemotherapy center increased from 84.4%to 91.8%and the overall satisfaction increased from 90.6%to 93.8%.Conclusion:The pre-hospitalization model of online diagnosis and treatment is safe and feasible. Its application in the daytime chemotherapy center can shorten the waiting time for intravenous infusion in the hospital, improve the beds utilization rate, improve patient satisfaction level, and effectively alleviate the dilemma of delaying chemotherapy for patients due to lack of beds.
