Doula care has been introduced to China for over thirty years,and currently mainly involves the field of childbirth.However,foreign countries have also carried out doula care in the field of end-of-life care,operating room and ICU.This article reviews the concept and origin of doula care,the current status and forms of doula care in various nursing fields at home and abroad,and puts forward suggestions for the future doula care development of our country in view of the shortcomings of doula care.
