Development of a perioperative health education picture book for preschool children with Obstructive Sleep Apnea based on psychological stress system model
Objective:To develop a perioperative health education picture book for preschool children with Obstructive Sleep Apnea based on psychological stress system model.Methods:Based on the psychological stress system model,literature evidence,clinical pathway,and the results of semi-structured interviews regarding the surgical cognition and coping strategies of preschool children with OSA,the first draft of the picture book was developed.Delphi expert consultation was used to revise and finalize it.Results:The effective recovery rates of the two-rounds expert consultation were 94.4%and100.0%respectively.The authority coefficient was 0.87,the judgment coefficient was 0.83,and the familiarity was 0.91.The finalized picture book contained 6 chapters and 22 topics.The coordination coefficients of topic importance and applicability were 0.609 and 0.333 respectively.Conclusion:The development process of OSA perioperative health education picture book is scientific and rigorous,and the contents are reliable.The book addresses the gap of lacking picture book in OSA management among preschool children and can be widely used in different regions.
