Evidence-based nursing practice of postoperative exercise rehabilitation for patients with vertebral compression fracture
Objective:To retrieve and summarize the best evidence of postoperative exercise rehabilitation for patients with vertebral compression fracture,to formulate evaluation indicators,and to implement and evaluate its clinical application effects.Methods:Based on the evidence-based continuous quality improvement model,from December 2022 to March 2023,through evidence acquisition,current situation review and evidence introduction,an evidence-based scheme for postoperative exercise rehabilitation of patients with vertebral compression fracture was constructed.By means of convenient sampling,59 patients diagnosed with vertebral compression fracture receiving surgery in the spinal surgery department of a tertiary A hospital in Qingdao from March to August,2023 and 20 nurses as the research objects.Indicators relating to patients including the satisfaction,quality of life and dysfunction index scores of the two groups before and after the intervention of evidence-based practice program of sports rehabilitation.Meanwhile,the implementation rate of sports rehabilitation related review indicators and the changes of nurses'knowledge of sports rehabilitation before and after the evidence-based practice were also compared and analyzed.Results:After the application of evidence,the patients'satisfaction and quality of life in the evidence-based practice group were improved(P<0.001),while the dysfunction index was decreased(P<0.001).Besides,both the implementation rate of examination indexes related to sports rehabilitation and the scores of nurses'rehabilitation knowledge increased(t=-15.873,P<0.001),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical application of evidence-based exercise rehabilitation program for patients with vertebral compression fracture is feasible,which can not only effectively boost the promotion of nurses'professional knowledge but also the implementation of clinical management behavior.Moreover,it is of great significance to improve patients'satisfaction,life quality after operation and reduce their degree of dysfunction.
