Exercise rehabilitation in patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy:a scoping review
Objective:To conduct a scoping review of studies related to the application of exercise rehabilitation in patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy. Methods:A literature search was performed in the domestic and foreign databases to identify relevant studies on exercise rehabilitation in patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy. The included studies were summarized and analyzed. Results:Totally 22 studies were included. The results showed that exercise methods can be divided into 4 categories, namely respiratory exercise, aerobic exercise, resistance exercise, and postoperative progressive ambulation. There was no unified standard for exercise time, frequency and intensity, which depends on the type of exercise and the physical condition of the patients. The outcome indicators involve 4 aspects of safety usability, feasibility, compliance, and effectiveness. Conclusion:Exercise rehabilitation is diversified and individualized, with a positive effect on patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy.Future research should focus on exploring the best exercise intervention strategies, improving its evaluation index system, and conducting more large-scale and high-quality randomized controlled trials to verify the intervention effects.
