Based on a comprehensive study of the abnormal phenomenon in typical accident cases of,the paper studies the ship collision risks in the case of crossing situation with a large-angle on the starboard side.In view of the provision of International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea,1972 and relevant maritime laws and regulations,the paper puts forward suggestions on ship navigation method and the safety management of shipping companies and maritime administrative agencies,aiming to provide reference for those engaged in the relevant domain and the maritime administrative agencies.
