The water safety education for primary and secondary students,as an important component of the national education system is not only related to the personal safety and healthy growth of the young people,but also bears on the harmony and stability of the entire society and the future of the country.Through a review of the water safety education in China in recent years,it is found that there are shortcomings such as incomplete content,insufficient attention from families and society,lack of pertinence and uneven resources.In view of the above,the paper puts forward relevant suggestions from the perspectives of improving the water safety education system,enriching practice and forms of education,and enhancing publicity guidance.
