By analyzing the current status of the legislation for ship noise pollution prevention and control,the paper concludes that there are problems such as poor interconnection between laws of different hierarchical levels,legal conflicts between provisions,and unscientific provisions in the current laws on ship noise pollution prevention and control.In view of the above,it suggests that noise pollution prevention and control be incorporated into the legal system of ship pollution prevention and control,and that the provisions on ship noise pollution prevention and control be supplemented and improved.It also proposes that differentiated regulations on ship noise pollution prevention and control should be allowed,and that the requirements on ship noise pollution prevention and control be coordinated with those of the Regulations on the Collision Prevention in Inland Rivers.
