Due to frequent ship accidents,the maritime administration has attached great importance to the situation and conducted a special self-check on electromechanical equipment failures.Based on an introduction of the self-check project for passenger ships and ro-ro passenger ships,the paper studies the differences compared with merchant vessels.In accordance with relevant provisions in international conventions and domestic laws and regulations,it probes into the safety technical conditions and electromechanical equipment of ships and provides reference for the industry.
