This article takes the Guangzhou Aids to Navigation Division as an example to explore how to achieve cost reduction,quality improvement and efficiency enhancement through a series of innovative measures in aids to navigation (AtoN) maintenance and management. The article first outlines the relevant concepts of AtoN maintenance and management,and then introduces the measures and achievements of cost reduction,quality improvement and efficiency enhancement in the three aspects of AtoN maintenance,ship management,utilization,maintenance and repair,and AtoN light maintenance,based on the specific practice of Guangzhou Aids to Navigation Division. Furthermore,it summarizes relevant experiences and enlightenment.
