Through analyzing the problems identified in the inspection concerning the Maritime Labour Convention,2006,this paper shows the problems existing in the signing and implementation of seafarers' employment agreement for the implementation of MLC. Furthermore,it analyzes the causes for the problems and provides suggestions for improvement in order to promote the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of seafarers,reduce the occurrence of human-caused accidents,and contribute to the development of a high-quality seafarer team.
