Comparison of the efficacy between unilateral approach microendoscopic spinal canal decompression surgery and oblique lateral sintervertebral fusion surgery in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis
Objective To compare the efficacy between unilateral microendoscopic spinal canal decompression surgery and oblique lateral intervertebral fusion surgery in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis. Methods 160 patients with lumbar spinal stenosis admitted to our hospital from Jun 2021 to Jun 2022 were randomly divided into fusion group and decompression group using a random number table method. The fusion group was treated with oblique lateral spinal fusion, and the decompression group was treated with unilateral microendoscopic spinal decompression.Detected the changes of inflammatory factors, blood rheological level, lumbar function related score and pain score, and evaluated the incidence of complications and clinical efficacy. Results In the decompressiong group, significant reductions were observed in IL-6,TNF-α,low-cut reduction viscosity,high-cut reduction viscosity level,ODI score and VAS score compared to the fusiong group(P<0.05).Additionally,the JOA score demonstrated a statistically higher level than that of fusion group(P<0.05).Conclusion Unilateral endoscopic spinal canal decompression sugery proves superior to oblique lateral interbody fusion in treating lumbar spinal stenosis, resulting in reduced complications and accelerated postoperative recovery.
