Evaluation of the impact of remimazolam and propofol on postoperative recovery quality in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery based on respiratory and circulatory stability
Objective To evaluate the effect of remimazolam and propofol on postoperative recovery quality in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery based on respiratory and circulatory stability. Methods 84 patients admitted to our hospital from Jan 2022 to Dec 2023 were divided into remimazolam group(n=42)and propofol group(n=42).Propofol group accepted propofol+rocuronium+sufentanil, maintained with propofol+rocuronium+remifentanil.Remimazolam group accepted remimazolam+rochuronium+sufentanil, and maintained with remimazolam+rocuronium+remifentanil.During the operation, the stability of respiratory circulation was maintained, and the BIS value was maintained at 40~60.The quality of postoperative recovery(postoperative recovery time, recovery time of spontaneous respiration, recovery time of orientation, incidence of delirium and agitation),EEG monitoring indexs(EEG frequency and amplitude under α,β,θ,δ rhythm)and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative recovery time, recovery time of spontanenous breathing and recovery time of orientation in the remimazolam group were shorter than those in the propofol group, and the incidence of delirium and agitation was lower than that in the propofol group(P<0.05).Compared with T0,the frequency and amplitude of the two groups at T1 and T2 decreased.Compared with T1,the frequency increased and amplitude decreased of T2(P<0.05).The frequency of the remimazolam group at T1 and T2 was higher than that of the propofol group(P<0.05).The amplitude of remimazolam group at T1 was higher than that of the propofol group, and the amplitude of remimazolam group at T2 was lower than that of the propofol group(P<0.05).The incidence of total adverse reactions in the remimazolam group was lower than that in the propofol group(P<0.05).Conclusion On the basis of stabilizing the stale of respiratory and circulatory during the operation, the remimazolam is more helpful to shorten the postoperative recovery time, improve the recovery quality, has no significant effect on EEG,with higher safety.
