This study addresses the needs of urban traffic management and information collection in China by investi-gating the performance testing methods of Electronic Registration Identification(ERI).The research focuses on the impact of complex windshields and various vehicle conditions on the performance of ERI.Through indoor glass tests and outdoor real vehicle tests,key factors affecting the effectiveness of ERI were identified.A standardized testing method and performance evaluation system were proposed.The results demonstrate that this evaluation system can effectively verify the reliability of ERI in practical applications,providing a scientific basis for optimizing the engi-neering application of ERI.
