Research on application of anchor sheet-pile wall in slope reinforcement
Strengthening existing support structures offers an approach to extend the service life.This paper presents a case study of slope reinforcement.A comprehensive slope reinforcement design process is proposed,involving the installation of anchor sheet-pile wall in front of the existing structure,synergizing with the backfill soil and the existing structure.This process encompasses stages such as evaluating causes of soil settlement and sliding,designing reinforcement scheme,planning construction sequences,and implementing informatized monitoring.By integrating practical engineering considerations,including the geological conditions of the slope,loading characteristics and environmental factors,an assessment is performed during the design phase.The effectiveness of the proposed reinforcement approach is validated through on-site engineering testing.
