Effect of steel inorganic fiber on mechanical properties and durability of lightweight aggregate concrete
In order to study the effect of steel-inorganic fibers on the mechanical properties and durability of lightweight aggregate concrete, single ceramic fibers and basalt fibers, and hybrid steel-basalt fibers and steel-ceramic fibers reinforced lightweight aggregate concrete with different fiber contents are designed. The results show that steel-basalt fibers increase the compressive strength and water pressure strength at 60-day permeability with the most significant improvement of 14.5%and 42.9%.The addition of 1.35kg/m3 basalt fibers increases the flexural strength by 62.2%.Ceramic fibers have adverse effect on the compressive strength and impermeability, but improve the flexural strength and frost resistance.Steel-ceramic fibers have a better effect on improving the impermeability and frost resistance of lightweight aggregate concrete.
