Construction and application of product carbon footprint database
With the advancement of the dual carbon goals and the increasing emphasis on environmental protection in China,the demand for more accurate,real-time,and in-depth carbon footprint basic databases has become urgent.This paper conducts an investigation on the current status of carbon footprint databases both domestically and internationally,and summarizes the problems and shortcomings in the database construction.From the perspectives of database design and data collection,this paper proposes a method for building a basic product carbon footprint database,and uses real products as cases for life cycle modeling and carbon footprint assessment analysis.
