Preparation and performance of self-drying organic silicone coatings with ablation resistance
In view of the surface protection of large high-temperature combustion furnace equipment used outdoors,an organic silicon ablation resistant coating that can self-dry at room temperature is developed.A special epoxy modified organosilicon resin is used as a film-forming resin,compounded with fusible ceramic powder,metal powder,and high-temperature resistant fillers to prepare an organic silicone ablation resistant coating.The results show that the prepared coating is suitable for large-scale outdoor construction applications and can naturally dry at room temperature without the need for high-temperature curing.The coating exhibits excellent heat resistance and ablation resistance,and can be used for a long time in a high temperature environment of 500℃.It can withstand 1000℃high temperature flame erosion for a short time and exhibits good resistance to neutral salt spray and moisture heat.Therefore,this organic silicon ablation resistant coating can meet the surface construction and application of large outdoor high-temperature combustion furnace equipment.
